2024 – A New Era: The Most Premium IELTS Test Center in Bangladesh
- Relocation to NLI Tower, Khulna, expanding to 3,700 sq. ft.
- Recognized as the most premium IELTS test center and top IELTS registration contributor for British Council Bangladesh.
- Introduction of IELTS on Computer for enhanced testing services.
- CEO returned from Canada with an IMTE (International Master of Teaching English) from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, introducing modern pedagogy, innovative technology, and a student-centered approach.
- Enhanced teacher training and research, utilizing Oxford’s Headway & Cambridge’s Empower for world-class education.
2023 – Sustained Excellence & Another Prestigious Award
Lexicon continued to dominate IELTS training and test facilitation, winning another British Council Top Contributor Award and reinforcing its position as the market leader in Khulna
2022 – British Council’s Top Contributor Award
Lexicon received British Council Bangladesh’s Top Contributor Award for the highest number of IELTS registrations from Khulna
2021 – Unparalleled IELTS Success
For the first time, Lexicon students achieved an IELTS 9.0 in Speaking and an overall band score of 8.5, solidifying Lexicon’s leadership in IELTS success.
2020 – Strengthening Expertise Amid the Pandemic
Despite COVID-19, Lexicon’s IELTS trainer, Md Shozibul Islam, earned the Cambridge CELTA certification from the University of Cambridge. Online classes via Zoom ensured uninterrupted learning, and Lexicon became the only O/A Level exam venue in the Khulna division.
2019 – Becoming an Official British Council IELTS Test Venue
Lexicon became an official closed IELTS test venue in partnership with British Council Bangladesh, conducting tests at CSS AVA Center. The Cambridge Young Learners English (YLE) Program was also introduced for children.
2018 – Market Leadership & Innovative Learning
Lexicon became the leading IELTS institute in Khulna, training the highest number of candidates each month. New initiatives included the GALA Speaking Test at CSS AVA Center, project-based learning, and presentation-based teaching.
2017 – A Bigger Space, A Bigger Vision
To accommodate growth, Lexicon relocated to Nirala (House 97, Road 1), expanding to 1,700 sq. ft. The move enabled the introduction of extensive IELTS and English language courses while continuing to produce high IELTS scores.
2016 – Gaining Recognition & Expanding Services
Lexicon’s reputation grew rapidly, making it a trusted name in IELTS preparation and Spoken English courses. A new collaboration with IDP IELTS expanded student opportunities.
2015 – The First IELTS Registration Center in Khulna
With expert training, Lexicon produced remarkable IELTS scores of 7.0, 7.5, and 8.0. This success led to Lexicon becoming the first official IELTS registration center in Khulna in collaboration with British Council Bangladesh.
2014 – Humble Beginnings
Lexicon was founded as a 600-square-foot institute in Roy Para, Cross Road, Khulna, offering IELTS preparation, Spoken English, Basic Writing, and Phonetics courses, along with mock tests and IELTS registration services
